About Jim Adkins, Founder of Center for Poultry

My passion more than anything else in life, is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. I will honor God by teaching , training, coaching & mentoring those who are interested in sustainable, small farming with standard bred poultry. I am indebted to those who have invested in me; my 4-H leaders, Dave & Louise Owen, Norman Kardosh, Frank Reese Jr, Ken Cooke, Dave Holderread, Paul Ashbrook, Ray Verduin and my Plymouth Rock mentor, Oliver Bowen, just to name a few. I am thankful for the opportunity to invest in others as they have invested in me.
